Division.I fought undefeated boxer Dale Walters in the 1978 Emerald Gloves Final at the PNE GARDENS. In have 2 Junior Golden Gloves titles.1982 I fought hometown favourite Gary Woods in 147 Division and in the final I defeated an American boxer from Tacoma Wash.Alan Brown and I were the only Canadian fighters to win Gold that year 1982 Junior Golden Gloves in Campbell River. 1984My last amateur bout was a loss to a very tough Cecil Grey in 1988.
